Simply The Best is looking for outstanding dog walkers. We are seeking dog lovers who are exceptionally responsible, communicative, detail-oriented, and experienced with pets.
Dog Walker Job Details:
- This job is 90% dog walking Monday through Friday. We offer private dog walking around clients’ neighborhoods.
- Consistent weekday availability between 9am-4:30pm at least three weekdays per week is required. Weekend and evening availability also a plus.
- Starting at 5-10 hours per week with the potential to expand up to 20-25 hours per week. The ideal candidate is flexible and patient, not minding the gradual increase in hours.
- We walk no matter the weather, so you must be comfortable being outdoors, rain or shine, and working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
- Service Locations: San Carlos, Redwood City, Emerald Hills, Atherton, Menlo Park, Palo Alto, Portola Valley, and Downtown Woodside.

You should apply if:
You genuinely love animals, especially dogs, of all ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments. You cherish time with them!
You're absurdly dependable, responsible, and trustworthy. Seriously. You never miss an appointment and are never late.
You're completely honest. If a pet looks unwell, you mention it. If you made a rare mistake, you tell us immediately.
You pay close attention to the details. You notice when something's off and you always clean up after yourself.
You communicate well in person and via text and are highly personable.
You're able to work independently outdoors and in all weather types. Rain and heat don't faze you.
Requirements:
You need to be a serious animal lover with impressive past experience. Pets are your passion, not pastime.
Valid US driver's license and vehicle insurance with your own vehicle you can drive to and from clients' homes.
18 + years of age.
Able to pass a federal and local background check.
Your own smartphone from which you can send photo / videos and updates to clients.
You should have another source of income since no hours or income is ever guaranteed with this position.

Pay starting at $400-$800 per month with the potential to expand up to $1600-$2000 per month depending on your availability and client demand. Paid hourly at $20/hour.
Paid drive time at your hourly rate plus a mileage reimbursement at the federal rate. Small service area, minimal driving. Skip the long, unpaid commute!
You will be a W-2 part-time employee, meaning: sick time off, workers' comp, CalSavers Roth IRA retirement option, & cell phone reimbursement each month.
Paid training before you start so you feel confident working for us.
